The familiar shape of an unopened champagne bottle, the epitome of lightness and luxury, disappoints: it is cast from solid lead. Historically, lead was used especially in the invention of firearms, but also in alchemy, as a starting material for the synthesis of gold. This juxtaposition testifies in a humorous way to the inherent gravity of any moment, however light.
