Born in 1999 in Les Lilas, Matia Agafonovas lives and works in Paris. His practice, which often makes use of recycled materials, combines painting, drawing, sculpture, publishing, and installation.
He graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs - PSL in 2024. Matias Agafonovas has taken part in several group shows, including “100% L’EXPO” at La Villette in Paris in 2025, at the Fondation Pernod Ricard in Paris in 2024, at La Corvée in Paris in 2023 and 2022, at the Tour Orion in Montreuil (France) in 2023 and at Espace Voltaire in Paris in 2022.
